Advice Process III - Presenting the Client Solution
Purpose
This course is a compulsory element of the National Certificate in Financial Services (Financial Advice) (Level 5) and is intended to enable advisers to effectively provide financial advice and assist clients to implement solutions to their identified needs in order to maintain, protect and grow their wealth.

- A financial adviser who has attended Advice Process I and II and wishes to complete the Advice/Sales Programme?
- Wishing to implement “total client care” strategies in your business?
- Wanting to enhance your skills in closing the sale, presenting recommendations to clients and managing effective client reviews?
Learning objectives
After completing this course you will be able to:
- Research and analyse the information gathered about the client’s needs, objectives, and financial situation in the fact find
- Develop a set of client recommendations and an appropriate financial plan
- Present the recommendation and financial plan to a client and obtain agreement and acceptance
- Utilise verbal communications skills to respond to client concerns and queries
- Substantiate the recommendations and advice provided
- Recommend suitable solutions to meet the client’s needs
- Conduct a successful “presenting the recommendation” meeting

- Developing and preparing advice, solutions and recommendations
- The six-step advice process
- Client welcome and introduction including reason for meeting and agenda
- Presentation of recommendation and financial plan
- Paperwork and applications
- Reviews and follow-ups
- Closing the meeting
Qualification
Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a Certificate of Competence signifying attainment of the Advice Process III (Presenting the Client Solution) compulsory element of the National Certificate in Financial Services (Financial Advice) (Level 5).
This course is approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) under the provisions of the Education Act 1989, and Adviserlink is accredited to deliver it.
